A photo can be so many things. Stillness, silence, art. A way to capture beauty. A way to speak without words. To tell a story. To touch the heart. 

I can’t resist taking photos of anything beautiful (especially if it’s food), but photos of people are my favorite. They say the most.

My style depends on the situation and the location. I love photos that capture beauty, that say something, that evoke an emotion, that hold your gaze. If I’m taking photos of you, then most importantly I want you to love your photos. I also want you to enjoy the experience of having your photos taken.

I love the co-creative aspect of photo shoots, the way each one is a unique blend of ideas and planning and spontaneity; the way you never know how each one is going to unfold until it’s happening. It’s such a living form of art; the way people relax in front of the lens, start to become fully themselves, and then the best poses just happen spontaneously in a split second. It feels like a kind of magic.
