Hi, my name is Sonya. I’m a natural light portrait photographer— and yoga teacher, for full disclosure! I’m from the US and now happily call Siem Reap home. I fell in love with this chill, charming town after coming here for what was supposed to be a month. (Watch out; it could happen to you!)
As an avid traveler myself, I love connecting with other travelers and helping them discover what makes Siem Reap special. I’ve combined this with my photography services to create Siem Reap Photoshoot Experiences.
The town of Siem Reap has so many more gems to discover than just the spectacular temples of Angkor Wat. If you appreciate beauty, style and great vibes, love discovering the heart of a city with a local, plus would love a personal photographer to get some great photos of you while you’re here, this curated photoshoot discovery experience is for you. On this curated mini-tour plus photoshoot, we’ll take a stroll through the alleys and leafy riverside of Siem Reap’s charming center. Along the way, I’ll share the inside scoop on the best spots here and capture a mix of editorial-style and posed photos of you in photogenic spots.
Areas explored: Siem Reap center, riverside, Old Market, Kandal Village
Duration: 60 – 90 minutes
Receive: 10 or more professionally edited images
Cost: $60 for one person; $30 for each additional
Whether these photos are for a special occasion, a self-love journey, just for fun, or any other reason, this session is all about you. We’ll choose the locations that best suit you and your style. I’ll offer posing guidance during the shoot and help you feel at ease in front of the camera.
Areas explored: Multiple options available; tuk-tuk transportation included from meeting point
Duration: 1 1/2 – 2 hours
Receive: 25-30 professionally edited images
Cost: $90 for one person; $60 for each additional
Be transformed with traditional Khmer dress into your choice of an apsara, goddess (devi), or other. Attire available for both men and women; can be done as a couple. Once the transformation is complete, we’ll visit Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm or Bayon for your photoshoot.

Duration: 3-4 hours
Receive: full gallery of professionally edited images
Cost: $250 per person, $400 per couple (includes hair, makeup and outfit rental)
